Police arrest suspect possibly linked to hijacking
One suspect has been arrested this morning by the Organised Crime Unit in the Reiger Park SAPS in connection with the hijacking on Saturday night (July 19) resulting in the death of Taegrin Morris (4).
The Advertiser can confirm that based on a tip-off, police have brought a suspect in for questioning, but he has not been charged.
The suspect has not yet been linked to the hijacking incident, during which Taegrin was fatally dragged behind a hijacked vehicle for about 8.5km.
The vehicle was later found abandoned.
