Acting metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe says the Ekurhuleni’s readiness follows Eskom’s call for the implementation of an emergency loadshedding last week Thursday.
Gadebe says the municipality’s standard loadshedding schedules are available on the municipality’s website at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za or residents may just follow the link: https://ekurhuleni.gov.za/yourservices/energy/power-cuts/load-shedding-schedules to familiarise themselves with schedules.
Areas that are directly supplied by Eskom should visit www.eskom.co.za for more information. – @TumeloBoksburg

If they do decide to implement load shedding I really hope that this schedule is up to date and that the correct areas will be without electricity. The last schedule was a catastrophy cause they were cutting in areas that were not on the mentioned times. But once again I suppose that is to be expected from the Ekhuruleni where they have no idea what customer service is.
