BAC Comrades Marathon results
The Comrades Marahon, one of the world’s most famous ultra-marathon races, took place in Kwa-Zulu Natal from Pietermaritzburg to Durban on Sunday, June 1.

This year’s winner, Durbanite Bongumusa Mthembu prolonged South Africa’s dominance on the race by taking the baton from last year’s winner, Claude Moshiywa, to cross the line in 5:28:34.
British runner, Eleanor Greenwood broke the Russian dominance in the women’s race, crossing the line in 6:18:15 to clinch this year’s edition, 5.03 minutes ahead of eight-time champion, Elena Nurgalieva.
