Boksburg rugby claim vital away win
The Boksburg Rugby Club responded to their defeat in the Valke League opener against Springs, with a convincing 34-19 bonus-point away win against North-West University (NWU), on Saturday, May 17.
The Owls scored five tries with flyer, Ashwill Adams grabbing his second try in as many weeks. Dean Swart and Juan Bester also carried through their try-scoring form with both crossing the whitewash, having done so in the league’s opening encounter.
Calvin Jantjies also chipped in with a score of his own, with Ashley Buchler converting four conversions and one penalty.
The Owls host local rivals Brakpan next on Saturday, May 31.
