
* Keagane Freeks (21) from Reiger Park appeared in court on a charge of murder.
His case was finalised and he was sentenced on May 16, to seven years imprisonment wholly-suspended for five years.
In July 2009, the accused killed his relative, Eugene Freeks by stabbing him with a knife.
He has no previous convictions.

* Chirco Mashaba (42) from Cinderella in Boksburg appeared in court on a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was found guilty on May 16, and sentenced to R2 000 or six months imprisonment, and a further 12 months imprisonment suspended for five years.
In February, the accused intentionally assaulted Thomas Pelembe at the Cinderella Hostel by hitting him with a spade.
Magistrate Emmanuelle Magampa presided over the matter and Palesa Setshedi appeared on behalf of the State.
* Bogune Biyana (39) from Angelo appeared in court on a charge of theft.
He was found guilty on May 13, and sentenced to three years imprisonment; he was also accused unfit to possess a firearm.
The accused stole a compressor and welding machine to the value of R21 000 in Parkdene.
Magistrate Emmanuelle Magampa presided over the matter, and Angeline Mooiman appeared on behalf the State.
* Zimbabwean nationalist Christopher Africa (24) from Angelo appeared in court on a charge of theft.
He pleaded guilty on May 12, and was sentenced to R1 000 or six months imprisonment with a further 12 months imprisonment, suspended to five years.
The accused stole items to the value of R9 070 and has no previous convictions.
