Media fun with Hirsch’s bake-off

Journalists from Caxton East Rand’s Boksburg Advertiser, Get It Joburg East, Benoni City Times and Kempton Express showed off their baking skills by baking and decorating chocolate muffins.

The bake-off gave team members the opportunity to master positive communication and leadership skills, the ability to work closely together as a team, as well as to solve problems as a team.

The most important lesson of the day was to read and follow directions carefully to ensure that your cake doesn’t flop.

Even though there were a few flops among some teams, everyone did their utter best to bake their muffins to perfection.

Caxton East Rand thanks Hirsch’s for this fun-filled opportunity, as well as donating a Whirlpool Jet Chef microwave to the branch.
