Kempton Park crowned Premier League champions
Kempton Park’s Johan Fourie finished as the top bowler as his club Kempton marched to their eighth Premier League title following a dominant run of 15 wins from their 18 matches.
Kempton were unchallenged for the most part of the campaign with last season’s champions, Benoni Northerns finishing with 96 points, a 13-point deficit behind Kempton, who finished with a daunting 109.
The champions move-on to the National Club Championships which will be played in Pretoria between April 22 and 25.
CBC Old Boys rounded-up the top three with 84 points.
Fourie took a total of 42 wickets in this year’s campaign to help his side add on to their laden trophy cabinet which includes Premier League titles from 2006 to 2012.
CBC starlet Wesley Coulentianos claimed the top batting honours with an emphatic 509 runs, including four 50s one century, averaging of 46.27.
Boksburg finished seventh with 46 points.
