Drummies to compete in America
The St Dominic's Catholic School for Girls' drum majorettes will be competing in the American Dance/Drill Team National/International Championship to be held in Texas, on March 29.
They qualified for this overseas championship after the high school team won both the Indoor and Outdoor National Championship in 2013.
The team, consisting of 33 drum majorettes, will be competing against countries such as Japan, China and America.
The American Dance/Drill Team has been leading the dance/drill team industry for over 50 years by presenting quality dance education through summer camps, winter dance intensives, special events and competitions around America.
There will be a live web-casting of the competition.
