New route for Birchwood race
The Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre will host the fourth annual Birchwood Cross the Line half marathon on April 13. Building on the success of last year’s race, which saw over 2 000 runners compete, the Birchwood Athletics Club that introduced a new route will hope for a greater turnout.
Once again, great prizes are to be won from Birchwood and the event sponsors.
Whether you’re a leisurely runner or a trained athlete, the event caters for the whole family with options of a 5km, 10km and 21.1km available for entry.
There is an added incentive – break the current record for the 21.1km route and Birchwood will double the prize money.

The first 1 000, 21.1km, and 10km pre-entries, will receive a complimentary sports tog bag and water bottle.
Online entries are already available through www.entrytime.com and print flyers are available at Birchwood Hotel for collection and can be dropped off at any one of the following venues:
