Dust off your shoes for the Walk for Jesus
The annual Walk for Jesus is slowly but surely creeping closer.
Bring banners and flags, bring your motorbikes, prams, wheelchairs and neighbours.
Sunday, March 2, promises to be another special, fun-filled day, when participants help hand out hundreds of small Bibles to bystanders.
The Walk for Jesus gives Jesus-lovers the opportunity to gather, to spread His Word and to make noise for Him.
“Jesus has significantly changed my life over the last couple of years,” says organiser Ronel Knipe.
“I lost my son in a tragic accident and went through the worst time of my life; Jesus took me out of that deep pit, and I surrendered everything to Him.
“We unite and proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, for He is the Way, the Truth and the Life; we will never stop walking for Him.”
The event will take place at noon, with the starting point being Laerskool Concordia, on Rietfontein Road.
The route is approximately 2km long.
