Reiger Park proud of 2013 matric class – headmaster

Reiger Park Secondary School’s matric class of 2013 has left the Reiger Park community proud.

This is according to school’s headmaster, Gregory Fisch.

The school’s 2013 grade 12s obtained an overall pass rate of 82.2 per cent, including 35 distinctions and 40 bachelor passes.

“Our learners have proven that you can succeed despite difficult circumstances, poor backgrounds and humble beginnings,” says Fisch.

“Through sheer hard work, commitment and determination, nothing can prevent our learners from fulfilling their full potential and dreams.”

“We are particularly proud of the result because at our institution, we have 700 orphans and 300 household heads, and they have achieved excellently, despite the challenges they face on a daily basis.

“The Reiger Park community is proud of them all as they have exceeded expectations.

“We are living in the most exciting times of our lives as our country is blessed with the most amazing possibilities and opportunities,” he concludes.

The highest matric pass rate in the school’s history is 91 per cent, which was achieved by the 2011 class.
