Get ready for the Transvaal Hotel
The historical Transvaal Hotel situated at the corner of Church and Buitenkant streets, launched on Saturday, December 21, following the almost two-year-long refurbishment work.
A Farrar Park-based company Robon Electrical, embarked on a task to reconstruct the historical Transvaal Hotel last year.
The building was originally built in the early 1900s and was a popular hangout for Boksburg residents for many years.
It has, however, remained vacant for about 12 years, and at one stage played home to a number of vagrants.
By rebuilding the hotel, the company aims to bring it back to its former glory days.
