Kidz Clinic’s children treated to Christmas party

On November 29, the Boksburg Kidz Clinic held their annual Christmas party at McMoo’s Farmyard.

These clinics are professional one-stop facilities that offer a range of comprehensive medical and therapeutic services to children who have been sexually or physically abused, or seriously neglected.

Every year, the clinics invite all the children they’ve seen, at each of their Kidz Clinics, for a wonderful afternoon of fun, entertainment, games, eats and treats.

Each child also receives a brand new Christmas present from Father Christmas and goes home with a party pack.

Dylan Solomon, director at 3DDesign, says they have wanted to get involved with charities and give back to the community.

“This year we took our budget, which would normally be used to buy client gifts, and put it towards the Christmas party for these children,” he says.

Solomon adds that they also invited their clients to get involved and share in the Christmas spirit.

“The fun day also takes the children’s minds off all they have been through,” he says.

Earlier in November, St John’s Presbyterian Church held a Carols by Candlelight service in aid of Kidz Clinic.

Part of the evening included community members taking gifts for children, and these were handed out to them at the Kidz Clinic Christmas party.
