Olympians to take part in Commonwealth Wrestling Championships
The South African Wrestling Federation, in conjunction with the Eastern Gauteng Wrestling Federation, will be hosting the 2013 Commonwealth Wrestling Championships in Kempton Park, from December 5 to 7.
The three-day event will be held at the Kempton Park Indoor Sports Centre.
The championships are a major feature on the international wrestling calendar and are sanctioned by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA).
Wrestlers from the 45 Commonwealth wrestling nations will participate in the event with many of the teams featuring wrestlers that participated in the 2012 Olympic Games.
Olympic silver medallist Sushil Kumar, from India, will be among other wrestling stars that will represent their respective countries during the championships.
