CPI meeting to be held

The community of Van Dyk Park is invited to a Community Patrolling Initiative (CPI) members meeting, to be held at the Van Dyk Park Primary School hall on Wednesday, November 13.

The agenda of the meeting will include the CPI’s vision and mission statement, the increase levels of crime as the holiday season draws near and strategies to be put in place during this time.

Discussions will also include the installation of monitoring systems and the policies and procedures involved.

The monitoring systems are alarm systems, which will be monitored by the CPI and not an external security company.

Future plans of the CPI will also be put on the table.

The meeting will start at 7pm.
