Brazilian Soccer Schools launches Elspark branch

The Brazilian Soccer School in Elspark has officially opened, offering children from ages five to 17, unique, innovative and complete development football skills.

Brazilian Soccer School is one of the largest network of soccer schools in the world, with South Africa now being included.

The school encourages players to spend as much time as possible working with the ball for improved technical skills. The school’s young players often train between 10 to 20 hours per week, including work they do on their own.

The institution assures parents that despite the long hours, players are not in any danger of overtraining, as the work focuses mainly on the player and the ball.

Training includes Futebol de Salao, which is soccer played on hard surfaces (street soccer) with a smaller and heavier ball compared to your normal soccer ball.

This is to help players improve their ball control skills when they get on the pitch and use the normal ball.

Other focus points are individual skill, increased training time and physical training.

The school’s current training sessions begin at 3.30pm to 4.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for ages five to eight, and 5pm to 6.30pm from Monday to Friday for ages nine to 17.

Everyone is invited for a free session to experience football training the Brazilian way.
