Boksburg High School dancing sensation Andrea Truter finished sixth at the Disco World Championships, in Bochum, Germany, earning a trophy and maintaining the sporting pride of the country.

This came after the 18-year-old matriculant outdanced 81 of 87 dancers from 20 different countries in her section.

She earned qualification by finishing first in three of four qualifiers thus far, with the fourth qualifier being the South African championships, set to take place in Free State province in November.
The first qualifier took place in April, at Sun City, the second in July, in Springs, and the third in August, also in the Free State.
