Aerotropolis Automotive Outdoor Expo to bedazzle!

The Aerotropolis Automotive Outdoor Expo promises to be a weekend not to be missed.

It will be a time of fun, excitement and good times for the entire family.

The excitement and the thrills all happens @The Park (next to the Emperors Palace) on Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3.

This block-buster event is hosted by the Ekurhuleni Business Initiative (EBI), in conjunction with @The Park and the official opening will be on Saturday, at 11am, by the CEO of Proudly South African, Adv Leslie Sedibe.

Despite the Johannesburg International Motor Show happening at Nasrec, local vehicle manufactures from the East Rand have put their full weight behind this expo @The Park, to deliver a showcase of glamorous vehicles to appeal to every taste and style.

Expect more than 20 top vehicles manufactures over the weekend.

This will, however, not be just a day for viewing and day-dreaming, because manufactures will offer discounts. Good news is that deals can be done and closed on the floor during the expo.

Vintage cars will also be on display for those who are connoisseurs of the vehicle craft and for those who just love fine automobiles.

The expo is far more than just cars. There will be music, entertainment galore, a multitude of food and craft stalls, and there will be all kinds of fun activities for young and old, as well as a beer tent.

Musicians who are lined up to play on the huge stage built @The Park over the two days include Bianca du Preez, Stadsboer, Isaac Davel, Hercules, Ryan Walt and Ampie du Preez.

On Saturday, a Teen Idols competition will be staged, followed by a Little Miss EBI pageant, on Sunday.

Other fun activities include displays by the Metro Police Dog Unit, as well as the SAPS Dog Unit, and a “Toutrek” competition.

Companies and any other interested parties who are keen to be part of the “Toutrek” event can enquire from the EBI on participation.

On Sunday, hundreds of motorcyclists from the Harley Davidson Club are expected to join the breakfast run, which is sure to make for a huge spectacle, as the engines roar to life @The Park.

A tent, seating almost 300 will be erected for any company or business that wants to launch or market a product.

For an hour at a time, the tent will be available at a cost, featuring a big screen and offering the opportunity to interact with clients in a private and personal capacity.

Gates open at 9am and will close at 5pm on both days. An entry fee will be charged.

Anyone who still wants to get involved in the weekend’s activities, is interested in performing on the day, or who wants more information regarding the tent for business, may phone Johann Oosthuizen on 072 317 4363.
