Keep the cents coming for the SPCA
The coins have been piling up, but many of us still haven't had a chance to donate them to the SPCA.
Many of us usually have a whole bunch of 5c and 10c pieces lying in our wallets and, when they build up, we regularly discard them into a bowl at home or into a piggy bank we will never use.
But, there is something else you can do with those unwanted cents – support our local SPCA, and donate those unwanted brown and gold coins to help them make it through the month.
The SPCA thanks everyone who has donated their 5c and 10c coins to their cause and points out that the coins can either be taken to the society’s offices in Railway Street, Boksburg, or can be collected from you if you are unable to bring the money to them.
