
Ndlovu was arrested on North Rand Road, on July 23, after he was found exhibiting, selling and distributing pirated DVDs.
He was found in possession of 13 copies of illegal DVDs.
According to Ndlovu’s statement, he was selling the DVDs as he didn’t have an income and this was the only way to support his family.
He pleaded guilty, was found guilty, and sentenced on August 7, to six months imprisonment, suspended for five years.
Magistrate Emmanuelle Magampa presided over the matter, and Ntombi Mbonani appeared on behalf of the State.
