Robbers make-off with R1-m worth of goods
A Sunward Park family suffered a terrifying ordeal when armed robbers invaded their home and stole R1-m worth of goods, including the family’s Mercedes Benz.
The family was robbed just before 5pm on Saturday, August 3, in their Sunward Park home along Harmonie Avenue.
Four men armed with firearms entered the house and held the family at gunpoint.
The intruders stole among others things a flat screen TV set and jewellery.
No shots were fired and the victims were uninjured.
The robbers are described as four armed African males.
