“We searched for her everywhere, but she is nowhere to be found and we still don’t know what happened to her,” said the emotional administrative assistant.
Almost a decade ago, the fluffy cat just turned up at the vet and crept into everybody’s hearts.
“We gave her food and thought she would leave. However, she stayed at the practice and became part of us. The practice took meticulous care of Blackie. Dr Roche Gill sterilised her and we ensured that she was innoculated.
“We also treated her when we noticed something was wrong with her kidneys after she lost a significant amount of weight.
“I stopped at the garage every day to buy mini sausage rolls so that I can give her the mince.
“I still have food for her in my boot,” Leoné explained.
She emphasised they are heartbroken over Blackie’s disappearance.
“Everybody at the practice is devastated.
“I’m still crying and we all miss her a lot.”
