Makopano Solutions Group nabbed two suspects who robbed one of their security guards at knifepoint in Sunward Park on April 3.
The incident happened late that afternoon at around 5pm.
“One of our security guards was robbed on his way home after his shift ended. The suspects put a knife against his neck and took his belongings,” said Vanessa Jacobs, Makopano armed response manager.
Their armed reaction unit then responded, caught the suspects and recovered all the stolen items.
Jacobs said no injuries were reported, adding that a case was opened at the Boksburg Police Station.
The Advertiser sought comment from the police and will add it as soon as it’s received.
