Simphiwe Michael Ndlovu was found guilty of culpable homicide on November 5 by the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court.
He will be sentenced on December 12.
On the day, a rescue crew arrived on the scene and found the two vehicles, a light motor vehicle and a taxi, had collided.
Three people in the taxi were treated and transported to the Sunshine Hospital. The young woman who was driving the light motor vehicle was declared dead on the scene.
According to Charné’s father, Freddie, his daughter would’ve turned 23 on November 29.
“Losing Charné hasn’t been easy on us as a family. We are still coming to terms with our lose. We miss her every day; I don’t even have the words to describe how I feel,” Freddie said.
Charné was a former learner of Boksburg High School.
She started working in January at an accounting company in Bedfordview.
