PnP Hyper spoils Boksburg Child Welfare with Christmas party

One of the staff members also dressed up in a clown suite to entertain the children.

A normal day at the Boksburg Child Welfare got exciting when Pick n Pay Hypermarket Boksburg recently spoilt about 50 of the children with a Christmas party.

Pick n Pay painted the children’s faces and sponsored lucky packets, sweets, hampers and a lovely lunch with dessert for the party.

The branch’s customer service manager, Maggie Malapela, described the party as a success.

“We sponsored a party for the children at Boksburg Child Welfare as we wanted to give back to the community. Pick n Pay loves children because they are the future,” said Malapela.

Vanessa Naidoo-Pillay, director of Boksburg Child Welfare expressed her gratitude to Malapela and her team’s warm gesture.

“A big thanks to Pick n Pay for recognising children at Boksburg Child Welfare. These children come different backgrounds and often don’t have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas. They have brought joy to the children.”
