Public taught on how to use money wisely at stokvel function

Locals were then treated to a tasty lunch and each of them received a Nedbank goodie bag.

Nedbank Gauteng East, led by regional manager, Carolyn Easton, hosted a stokvel function at the Boksburg Civic Hall recently.

The aim of the function was to educate the public on how to better manage their money through a stokvel investment, as well as how to be financially smart.

Some of the tips they gave to guests were: knowing where their money goes to, shopping smarter, reviewing and reducing their debt, building a strong credit report and saving for their children’s education.
