A video that shows three armed robbers following their victim in Atlas Road towards Ridge Road in their white Hyundai i10 on July 13 has been making rounds on social media.
However, police couldn’t confirm if the circulated video on social media is linked to the information they have of a similar case opened at Boksburg North SAPS around 1pm on July 13.
Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Const Justice Ramaube said the complaint alleged that when she stopped at the traffic light in Atlas Road, she was apporached by three armed suspects.
“The suspects allegedly demanded the woman’s jewelry, handbag and cellphone then fled the scene. We are investigating a case of armed robbery,” Ramaube said.
