RDP housing project started
Ward 34 councillor, Charlie Crawford, is delighted to announce that construction work has now started on the long awaited RDP houses in Ramaphosa informal settlement, extension two, also known as Tokyo.
Houses are being built along Elsburg Road, Ramaphosa.
According to Crawford, the families residing in the nearby informal settlements are among the hundreds of people who are going to benefit from this development.
Several sidewalks and roads are already being closed to pedestrians and traffic near the construction sites.
Nearby residents will have to bear with the short-term construction noise, dust and traffic during this project.
