Over 660 grams of dagga seized in Windmill Park

The suspect is expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Information reacted to reports of an alleged dagga dealer operating in Windmill Park on Saturday morning, May 4.

This resulted in an arrest of a male suspect found in possession of dagga weighing 660 grams with the estimated street value of R6 500.

According to chief superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, the suspect was arrested for being in possession of 57 ziplocks of dagga as well as a plastic bag filled with dagga.

“The suspect (32) was detained at Dawn Park police station charged with possession and dealing in dagga. Cash believed to be from selling dagga was also confiscated from the suspect.”
