Sunward Park Christian Academy to hold a blood drive
The demand for blood is ever increasing with the South African National Blood Services requiring more citizens to step forward as donors
Sunward Park Christian Academy is aiming to collect at least 25 units at its blood drive to be held on the school’s premises on March 15.
The blood drive will take place from 9am to 2pm.
The school is located at 25 Schreiner Street, Parkrand.
Donors must meet the minimum criteria for donating blood, which are as follows:
- Weigh at least 50KG
- Between the ages of 16 and 65
- Be in good health
- Leading a sexually safe lifestyle.
- Consider your blood safe for transfusion
- You may only donate every 56 days
