A man was shot dead and three others sustained serious injuries during a shooting on Christmas Day in Boksburg.
Although details on the attacks are still sketchy, the Boksburg SAPS spokesperson, Const Ntsako Ledwaba confirmed the incident.
He said police were, at about 11pm, on December 25 called to 136 New Married Quarters in Comet, where there was a shooting in progress.
“Officers found four African men who suffered gunshot wounds and one of them, identified as Chimwenwe Kanyanda, died on the scene.
“The motive for the shooting remains unclear at this stage but our detectives are investigating a case of murder and three attempted murder cases,” said Ledwaba.
