Majority of local Grade 12s celebrate after writing their last exam
The exams kicked off on October 29 when more than 9 667 Grade 12 learners across the Gauteng province successfully started the final leg of their school journey.
Mapitsi Rangwaga and Katleho Mokoena from Balmoral College said they were excited about finishing their finals. They were among those who sat for English first additional language paper three on Monday. They told the Advertiser they hope the outcome of their hard work would be satisfactory. Mapitsi wants to study for the LLB degree at the University of Johannesburg, while Katleho will spend the holidays preparing for his first year of computer science study.
The majority of matric candidates across the country wrote their last paper, English home language and English first additional language paper three on Monday.
The last exam for the matrics will be written on Wednesday (agricultural management practices).
The Advertiser visited Balmoral College on November 26 and spoke to matriculants who sat for the last paper.
They proudly told this publication they have worked hard for the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams, and that they remain optimistic their efforts would deliver awesome results.
