A 34-year-old suspect has been arrested after he was allegedly found digging up cables on October 20.
The Dawn Park SAPS received information about five people digging up cables at the mine houses in Van Dyk Park.
“On arrival, police managed to arrest one suspect while the others fled the scene. The cables were recovered,” said Const Nkemeleng Mabula.
