Church’s sound system worth R65 000 stolen

Below are some of the serious crimes recently reported to the Boksburg SAPS.

Burglary

• Thieves entered Christian Life Ministries at 10 Dean Place and stole the church’s sound system worth about R65 000 during the night between September 20 and 21.

• Thieves forced their way into a house on Korhaan Road, Sunward Park, and stole a TV set, PlayStation, laptop, a watch and R1800 in cash on September 21, while the homeowner was still asleep in the house.

• In Libradene, thieves forced open the window of a residential property on Andrews Road and stole a TV set while the complainant was in the house at about 2.30am on September 24.

• A resident of Farrar Park woke up on September 20 to find that thieves forced open one of the windows to enter her home and stole a TV set, while she was still asleep.

Dealing in drugs

• Boksburg police arrested and charged a man with dealing in drugs after they found him in possession of 48 ziplock bags containing the drug Cat, at 235 Commissioner Street, Boksburg central, on September 20.

 

Robbery

• On September 23, thugs robbed the Jet store on Commissioner Street, Boksburg CBD, of an undisclosed amount of money and 15 brand new cellphones.
