
Three suspects, facing charges of attempted murder, assault to do grievous bodily harm and malicious damage to property have been arrested.
The arrest follows an incident that happened at a pub in Dayan Glen, Boksburg North, on August 4 during which a man was assaulted and seriously injured, to the point of being in a temporary coma.
According to Capt Juanita Coetzer, spokesperson of the Boksburg North SAPS, following investigations, two men aged 47 and 26 respectively, and a women (30) was arrested.
They were charged and appeared in the Magistrate Court Boksburg on August 20.
“A team of SAPS, EMPD and other role-players were working around the clock to solve the case and bring the suspects to book,” said Coetzer.
