Eskom has declared Stage 1 load shedding at 11.30am today.
This is according Themba Gadebe, who said as a result the Ekurhuleni metro has also started load shedding.
“It will be effective for the duration of Eskom’s load shedding based on the schedule as advertised on our website at www.ekurhuleni.gov.za.”
Customers are cautioned to treat all electrical connections as live during this period.
