The EMPD Public Order Policing Task Team members recovered a stolen vehicle that was stolen from the parking lot of the Spar Shopping Centre in Sunward Park.
According to Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD spokesperson, the vehicle was stolen on Thursday, May 3 in the morning.
“The vehicle was found abandoned with its engine idling and its dashboard and door locks badly damaged just before noon on the same day on Hare Street at Buhle Park in the Germiston area,” said Kgasago.
“It was towed to SAPS Van Ryn Deep pound in Benoni for further investigations and safe-keeping.”
