Beanies donated in memory of Round Table’s Charl

Many heads and hearts will be warmed this winter with a heap of beanies donated to the Boksburg 17 Round Table.

This donation is also in honour of former chairman of Boksburg Round Table 17, Charl Schöltz, who died on April 6.

The beanies were donated to the Advertiser by Boksburg resident Noleen on behalf of her 90-year-old mother Daphne Braaf who knitted the colourful beanies.

Charl’s wife Annelette is a staff member at the Advertiser and it was thought a special moment to make the donation to the Round Table.
