Don’t miss out on Jaziel Brothers’ live performance at the Birchwood
The evening will also feature side-splitting comedians Thulani “TinyTools” Ntlabati and Thabang ER.
RnB-Pop fusion duo and Metro FM award winners, the Jaziel Brothers, will on April 6 be headlining the Ekurhuleni Comes Alive Jazz Evening at Birchwood Hotel.
The duo will share the stage with multiple award-winning songstress Selmor Mtukudzi and Idols 2017 Top Three contestant, Bothlale Phora.
“The Johannesburg-based Jaziel Brothers are not only known for their outstanding performances but also their work in producing award-winning albums and singles for local artists Lesego, Kelly Khumalo, Garth Taylor, Jub Jub and Malini.
“Adamant to set their own genre of music, and inspired by the likes of Boyz to Men, these brothers aim to push the boundaries of well-known genres to create sounds that are full of energy,” said the event’s publicity agent, Urban House Media’s Tegan Mitchell.

Also taking to the stage during the event is Zimbabwean solo musician and actress Selmor Mtukudzi, who is well-known all over the African continent for her upbeat dance songs that are about social commentary and daily challenges people face.
Daughter to Afro-Jazz artist, Oliver Mtukudzi, and wife to vocalist and guitarist, Tendai Manatsa, with whom she shares two albums, Mtukudzi has won numerous awards in Zimbabwe, America and has been nominated in Nigeria and the UK.
Opening the evening is Idols season 13 contestant Bothlale Phora, who was a fulltime musician before working his way up to the top three in the competition. Since then he’s shared a stage with Lira and Robby Malinga and is set to release his latest Afro-Pop single Mama Ka Nozi No Thando soon.
An evening of entertainment would not be complete without resident MC Hector Motivator, and to add to the fun, local comedians’ Thulani “TinyTools” Ntlabati and Thabang ER will take to the stage to present their take on everyday experiences and observations in their unique humorous way.
