Prison officials collect water to help Capetonians in times of drought

Boksburg Correctional Services officials recently collected 143 five-litre bottles of water to help residents of drought-stricken Cape Town.

According to the prison spokesperson, Sello Modise, officials felt that it is also their duty as citizens of the country to provide assistance to those facing a water crisis.

The water has been handed over to the Gift of the Givers and will be transported to Cape Town.
