A 21-year-old man was left critically injured on the morning of February 8 when he apparently fell off his motorbike while driving along the R21 near the Griffiths turnoff in Boksburg.
According to Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson, when ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found the man lying in the middle of the highway some distance away from his motorbike.
“Paramedics immediately treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to a nearby fire station where he was later airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter to a private hospital for further care.”
He said the details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
