According to Lion James van der Merwe, the club has sold about 360 cakes since November.

“We are very grateful to the residents of Boksburg and surrounding areas who have supported this good cause,” he said.

Profit made from the sale of the cakes goes towards the club’s Meals on Wheels project and the many other projects the club undertakes in order to build a better life for Boksburg communities throughout the year.

The cakes are R100 each.
