
According to Boksburg North SAPS spokesperson Capt Juanita Coetzer, the manager of the business was at the business when she noticed the three men threatening her staff members with a firearm and a panga.
“They ordered her to open the safe and then took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene,” said Coetzer.
Further investigation revealed that the guard opened the security gate at the back of the shop to allow the suspects to enter the premises.
The guard was then arrested and detained.
