Annette is ready to light up the Mrs Globe pageant

Boksburg's Annette Dempsey Clark will be representing South Africa at the Mrs Globe pageant in Schenzhen, China during December.

Mrs Globe is the biggest and most prestigious pageant for married women in the world. More than 72 countries will be competing at the 21st anniversary of this prestigious pageant.

Annette, who now lives in Ravenswood. made a name for herself in the modelling and fashion industry from a very young age with more than 200 beauty titles.

Annette, Mrs Globe South Africa 2017, is a senior sales representative at Nashua East Rand. She has a degree in business economics and management sciences.

She is also a business woman, entrepreneur and owner of Feature Models.

“Because I am competing in China, my dress code needs to be on point,” said Annette.

The designer of her dress is Dazelle Venter, the owner of BeDazzled.

“It is a huge honour to dress the Mrs Globe South Africa for her international participation. Annette is a beautiful woman and we have decided to dress her in royal blue for her formal evening wear,” said Venter.

“I have chosen our national flower as inspiration for her national costume. The soft cream, pink and burgundy colours complement Annette’s complexion.

“We have designed a body-fitting dress with a variety of fabrics and textures. Feathers and chunky beadwork will complete this dazzling dress.”

Dempsey’s life motto is to ”do what you love and love what you do” and she, therefor, strongly believes that you should be extremely happy in your career, as well as in your personal life.

Annette, who sees herself as being goal-driven, is married to Richard, whom she considers her biggest support system throughout this journey.
