• The EMPD were called to an accident scene on the corners of Elizabeth (Bartlett) and North Rand roads (Bardene) on October 31 at around 6.49pm.
Four vehicles, badly damaged, were involved in the accident. One person, who was lying on the grass next to the road, was found dead (reference number 10/11/2017).
• On November 1, at about 9.46am, the EMPD were called to the same location where another accident had occurred.
Two vehicles were involved and a road worker had been killed (reference number 23/11/2017).
