Can you donate a cake for the elderly’s fete?

The executive director of the home, Susan Cilliers, said the fete is a highlight of their fund-raising calendar and enjoys a lot of support each year.

“We would be grateful for donations of cakes for our cake table and are also in need of cooldrink donations. Cash donations are also always welcome as we use the money to buy ingredients and other essentials for the day.”

The fete takes place from 9am at the old age home on the corner of Olive and Mopane streets, Van Dyk Park.
