We asked the matrics of Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen if they’re feeling the pressure and whether they have any study tips.
WATCH:
Dylan Engelbrecht: “I am feeling the pressure a lot but not as much as the maths learners are. My study tips are: use flash cards and mind maps. If you feel stressed, take a walk to calm your mind.”
Leonie Rossouw: “The final exams are very stressful because we all want good marks – our future depends on it. I am also aiming for distinctions. My study tips are: study previous exam papers and join study groups.”
Frieda Grobbelaar: “I am feeling the pressure because these final marks determine our future. I am working hard to get good marks. My study tip is: start early, because if you work hard from the beginning it will be easier in the end.”
Sabrina van Blerk: “I am feeling stressed because I want to do my best in the finals and get good marks. It is important to plan and organise your time. Going through your work repeatedly will help when studying.”
