Recovered car could be linked to Eastern Cape house robbery, murder

Spokesperson Constable Nkemeleng Mabula said the police reacted to a tip-off about a suspicious looking motor vehicle that was parked in Boerbok Street in Dawn Park.

“On arrival, the police made enquiries about the vehicle registration number and discovered the vehicle had been stolen during a house robbery in the Eastern Cape, during which the owner was killed,” Mabula said.

Police are investigating whether the two suspects, aged 25 and 31, are linked to this incident.

They are expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court soon.
