Help police solve killings, identify bodies
The Reiger Park police are asking for the public’s help to solve the murder of an unknown man who was shot and killed on Elsburg Road, near the ZCC church, on September 30.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was found dead on the side of the road. He had suffered a bullet wound to his neck.
Investigators are also asking for assistance in identifying the deceased, described as dark in complexion, with no beard and smartly dressed.
The motive for the killing is unknown.
Officers also need the public’s help to identify the body of a man who was apparently struck by a vehicle on Commissioner Street, near Delmore Gardens, on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
Investigators said they are still looking for the driver of the vehicle which struck and killed the man. They are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information that can help them to identify the body to come forward.
The body of the unknown man was found on the shoulder of the road by a passer-by at about 7.30pm.
Investigators believe he was struck by a car, because they found broken pieces of glass and debris on the scene.
The body is described as that of a man aged between 25 and 30, who was wearing a blue pair of jeans, a black leather jacket and a yellow T-shirt with black stripes.
