Watch: Help local estate agents add hope with cupcakes
Local estate agency Gerald Grose Estates, in collaboration with Paul Vieira, owner and creator of Cake Extreme, will this month raise funds for the Cupcakes of Hope initiative.
They are aiming to sell about 2 000 cupcakes on National Cupcake Day, which is on September 30.
Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit organisation, with the mission to create awareness of the early warning signs of childhood cancer and supporting families who have been affected by childhood cancer by raising funds.
The cupcake event will take place at the Sunward Park Lifestyle Centre.
Elaine Coutts, from Gerald Grose Estates, said they are looking forward to the day and plenty of public support for this worthy cause.
Children will have a picture opportunity with Spider-Man and Princess at the cupcake sale.
Orders can be placed until September 28. Cupcakes are R10 each or R50 for six.
Cash donations are also welcome.
